Single Sided - design shown on front only; outline stitching visible on the back. Standard Applique` - design shown on both sides, but in reverse on back. Normal method. Double Faced - design reads left to right on BOTH sides. TWO flags sewn together, back to back, as one, with optional liner (extra charge) in between the two layers to help prevent "show through" from the other side. Liner recommended if using a light colored background.
